Last Friday our One Act Play class had the opportunity to visit the Lady Bird Airport and tour the aviation training facilities in the new hangar. Lindy Segall and Gwen Fullbrook gave us an exclusive tour of the Piper J-3 Cub planes and the Stinson Biplane. As a bonus, to my surprise, I got to fly the biplane! It was a valuable experience for the students. They learned what the planes sounded like and how it felt to sit in one.
