“As a Mexican-American child of immigrants, I want to leave a legacy of opportunity. I want my siblings to know that it is possible to excel, and I will be the first person in my family to go to school after high school. I’m involved in Student Council, Interact Club, and I am part of the school’s soccer team. One thing people may not know about me is that I have traveled to different states. I have been to many different cities, including Manhattan and New York City. In New York, I visited Time Square and the Statue of Liberty. I have been to Florida, including Santa Rosa and Destin. I have also been to Juarez, Autlan, Acuña, and Guadalajara in Mexico. On weekends, I spend my time working at Vaudeville on Main Street. My favorite teacher is Mrs. Weldon because she is laid back. She helps us out a lot; her class is fun, and she always has coffee for us.If I could have one redo in life, I don’t think I would use it. I think we are all supposed to be in this place of our life for a reason, whether it’s for our future or current development, and I wouldn’t want to change my life drastically.”
