Coach Taylor

“I hope that I am remembered as someone who people knew cared about them. I want to be known as a hard worker, compassionate, and a good friend, whom they can count on. I am an assistant basketball coach and an assistant softball coach. I am a CTE teacher, and my interest in school is developing student leadership and supporting students to be successful. I am from Tucson, Arizona. I’m not from Texas. People think I’m from New Mexico, but I’m not. Hanging out with my family – my son – pretty much takes up most of my time. During basketball season, I’m watching a lot of film and preparing, but during my off season time – which is right now – just hanging out with him. I have lots of favorite teachers, but one of my favorite teachers, when I was in high school, was my English teacher. She was also one of the basketball coaches, and we still have a great relationship. I think every mistake that I have ever made – that would equate a redo – has gotten me to where I am today. I wouldn’t be the person I am today had I not gone through some of the mistakes that I’ve made in my life. I don’t think I would redo anything.”
