Ava Jenschke by Elijah Grimmer

“My name is Ava Lane Jenschke. I want my legacy to be that I was a good kid. I just want to be a good leader. I want to be a good person for people younger than me to look up to, and I have a little brother, so I want to be a good example for him. I’m mainly into ag-related things. I’m in 4-H and technically, I’m a member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). I work on my parent’s farm, so most of my free time is filled with working on the weekends and after school. I actually plan on going to Texas A&M with an ag or business degree and then coming back and running the farm. I feel like I’m an open book. I feel like a lot of people know a lot about me. I am about to turn 17 and don’t have my license. That’s a pretty neat fact. My favorite teacher is going to be Coach Roemer; he’s a really good mentor to me. He listens to everything I have to say, even if it’s fake news or just a little drama. If I were to redo something in my life I would probably not go to that one party, but you live, you learn.”
