“I’m a junior at Fredericksburg High School. I am involved in varsity football during the fall and I throw in track during the spring. I enjoy these sports because they push me to keep my grades up and make school more interesting. Otherwise, I would just be sleeping in school. My favorite teacher at school is Mr. Schmidt, the automotive teacher for FHS, because he not only teaches us right from wrong in the classroom but also in real world situations. He is not only focused on teaching us the school curriculum but also life skills. On the weekend, I have football games on Fridays, conditioning on Saturdays and work on Sundays. When I can find the time, I like to go out on the weekends to try and take a break from my busy week.”
