“I want my legacy to be that I made it. I have great friends, and I’d like to think I’m a pretty good student, but I don’t want to be glorified. The thing that people should remember me for is that I made it because I’ve gone through so much, but I pushed forward and did make it, and I think that’s pretty great. I’m not involved in much at school besides theater, but outside of school a lot of my time revolves around 4-H. A lot of people don’t know that I love music. It’s kind of ironic because I’m awful at singing, but I just love how music can portray feelings that can’t always be easily put into words. I think it’s so cool how you can listen to the same song as somebody else but both have completely different interpretations. My weekends are usually spent listening to music and reading, also hanging out with my brother or sister when they’re home from college. My favorite teacher would probably be Mr. Dooley. At least once a week my friend, and I would go to the library during lunch and hang out there. He would always treat me as an equal, and he was just so amusing to be around. If I had a redo for life I would probably go back and redo sixth grade, the year Covid happened. I kind of isolated myself and because of that, I grew apart from my friends. A lot of them I reconnected with, and we’re close now, but I still regret that I pushed them away.”
