“I grew up here in Fredericksburg and I’ve been at FHS for three years now. I am in the 11th
grade. This year has definitely been harder than I thought because the work is very challenging.
Even though school is hard, my favorite class is math because I’ve always been good at it and it
comes easy to me. My dad is an accountant and I think I get it from him. My favorite thing about
school is that I get to talk to and see my friends. I got my drivers license this year and even
though it took a lot of work it was worth it because now I can drive anywhere if I need
something. One of the best things about being 16 and having my license is that I can leave
school during lunch with my friends and eat out. I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow
up, sometimes I think I know, but then I change my mind. I hope I’ll figure it out as I get older. I
definitely want to go to college, specifically UT if possible. In my freetime I like to play video
games, listen to music, play soccer, hangout with friends and family, read, and go to the gym. I
think it’s important to stay positive, try your best, and get money by all means necessary.
