The JV basketball girls won 53-15 against the Marion Bulldogs on Friday, Dec. 21.

“We played solid defense from the opening tip causing havoc to Marion with our press,” Coach Kristy Danz said. “We were able to force turnovers, which allowed us to score on easy layups early in the game.”

Sterlin Richardson had a total of three rebounds, three steals and 11 points. Anna Gold played a solid defense with 11 rebounds, five steals, three assists and scored 10 points.

“We applied relentless pressure and took Marion out of their offensive game plan,” Danz said. “Everyone played well and continues to improve on individual and team skills; this was a nice win going into the Christmas break.”
