Mu Alpha Theta is an organization that recognizes strong scholarship in mathematics. To be eligible, students must have completed three years of college-preparatory math classes, including Algebra, Geometry and Algebra II (for purposes for Mu Alpha Theta, college preparatory classes are designated as Pre-AP or AP classes). Student must have a semester average of 90 or higher in all prior math classes as well as being enrolled in a college preparatory math class at the time of induction. They must be in good standing with attendance, discipline, and behavior.
