Many people at FHS turn heads with their stylish shoes. From Vans to Air Jordans, these high schoolers’ shoes show just what their personality is like. We found one student from each class to tell us about their shoes.

Freshman Enrique Alvarado can be seen wearing different shoes every day, always matching to his outfits. When asked about the shoes he is currently wearing, he told us they are Air Jordans that he bought for $110. He usually gets his shoes online. Alvarado said he usually wears these particular shoes once a week. When Alvarado was asked about his favorite pair, he said, “I don’t really know- probably my Air Jordan 1’s.”

Sophomore Andres Vaquera has a unique sense of style and chooses to show it off in his shoes. Vaquera wears Revenge X Storm  Shoes, which he got from GOAT for $220.  “I wear them once every two days.”  Vaquera said.”I wear them outside of school too.” Vaquera’s shoes help define any outfit he may wear as his own.

Junior Kolby Fryburger has a unique personality accompanied by good friends. His shoes symbolize just that. “It was a birthday present,” Fryburger said. “It was from one of my co-workers.” He has had them for four months, and has accumulated many signatures and drawings over time. “I wear them almost every day,” Fryburger said. “My other shoes are literally about to fall off.”

Senior Mikey Aysheh wears his shoes with an air of confidence as he walks down the hallway, greeting people as he goes by. Aysheh told us he normally gets his shoes from StockX and FlightClub. “Some of them can get pretty expensive,” Aysheh said. “I don’t wear many of them because they get dirty.” Aysheh takes pride in his collection of shoes.  He even included it in his senior quote, “My shoe game > Yours.”
