Brooklyn Grobe by Jaedyn Reyes

Brooklyn Grobe is a softball player for the Fredericksburg High School, and she has also played for adult teams with her dad for charity.

She works at the Hill and Vine every day to get where she wants to get. She has big goals that she’s trying to meet every day. She’s a hard worker when she knows she needs to be. She’s very mature and knows what she wants and what she is planning to do next.

“What I’ve always learned was if you do things easy, it will be harder,” Grobe said. “If you do things hard, it’ll be easy, and you can’t take the easy way because you won’t get anywhere, but if you take the harder way, things will go your way. Sometimes life will get in the way. Just push harder and prove to life you got this, so again, don’t take the easy way.”

Her biggest fear is failing in life and being homeless. Grobe plans to go to college after she graduates high school, and then she wants to own her own bar or become a DJ.

Grobe’s hero is her dad because he never gives up on her, and he tries his best for her. Her favorite movie is   Dazed and Confused because her dad said she always used to watch it, and she remembers all the laughs and how it made her feel happy.

What motivates her to work hard is her siblings because she said if she can make it so can they. She wants them to see how hard she tries and pushes hard to make changes or make things better but really to succeed in life.

They wouldn’t feel like they have no one to look up to. When they have someone to look at and watch even if they don’t live with her, she just wants them to hear and see that they can do it because their big sister did.

One thing she would change about herself is her acne because all the stress she has gone through caused it all, and she wants to be able to be stress free for once and not worry. When she finds what makes her happy and finds what she loves to do she said she will be greater.
