Thursday, August 22, 2019 Announcements:


Attention seniors….  If you did not take senior portraits during the summer, you will be assigned a day and a time to take your portraits on either September 3rd, 4th, or 5th.   You will receive that appointment time and portrait information on Monday, August 26, in your third period class.  If changes to the appointment time need to be made, students can go to room 103 or email Mrs. Zuberbueler ([email protected]) before Friday, August 30.  If you took portraits this summer and wants retakes, you can go to room 103 or email Mrs. Zuberbueler to schedule a time.  Space is limited for retakes on these three days.  Another retake date is scheduled for October 22 if you cannot get in this round.


HOSA will have its first meeting of the year in room 120 on Thursday August 29th at 8:05 am. If you are interested in HOSA, you do not have to be in a Health Science class to be in the club. Come find out what HOSA is all about.


If you do not have your parking permit, you need to pick it up this week. Tickets will be written stating Monday, August 29th. Go to room 213 to get your sticker.


Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors- school pictures are next week on Tuesday, August 27. Picture order forms are available with your English teacher, and you will take your picture during English class.


Attention 4-H students, are you interested in learning about aviation? The Gillespie County 4-H program is seeking names and contact information for individuals who are interested in starting the 4-H aviation project. This project will include ground school and flying RC planes. If interested, contact Taylor Osbourn, the Gillespie County Extension Agent over youth development by August 27th.


Yarbrough’s Driving School is offering afternoon classroom instruction beginning Monday, August 26th. You must be 15 by September 25th to attend this class. Registration forms are available in the office.


The yearbooks from last year have arrived and are in room 103.  See Mrs. Zuberbueler in room 103 to pick yours up if you purchased one.
