DECA is an organization that mainly focuses on the entrepreneurship side of business. They meet at least once every 9 weeks where meetings will include presenters, fundraising, and volunteer events.. There are 6 officers who lead this organization which include a President, Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Finance, Vice President of Hospitality, Vice President Of Career Development and Vice President of Leadership. Students who are enrolled in at least one Career and Technology course can join. DECA competes in many competitions that progress through district, state, and national for students who are interested in business. DECA helps students develop leadership and communication skills by participating in various activities, such as public speaking, event planning, and networking.
